Why do you send missles containing element 115 to earth on Moon zombies?

Question by Jere: Why do you send missles containing element 115 to earth on Moon zombies?
Im lost on the whole story behind black ops zombies now. I have black ops 1 and 2 and ive played zombies on both but in black ops 2 theres always lava and fire and richtofen talks instead of samantha. The easter egg on the moon map in black ops 1 is called the big bang theory and you send missles filled with element 115 to earth and turn everyone into zombies but why?? Also, why did treyarch move away from the whole Nazi zombies thing and go towards just regular zombies?

The story ended in black ops 1 with all DLC’s. Treyarch, infinity ward (which had nothing to do with black ops series) and Activision have ran out of ideas.I personally think that zombies on black ops 1 were more enjoyable

treyarch didnt change it. its stilll the same. the story line is in order. richtofen’s whole plan was to control the zombie( which to him is a super strong military) to take over the world. the plan wasnt to blow up the earth. richtofen wanted to fill the earth with 115 to control it. it just went wrong. he also blew the world up on accident.
