What would be a good location for a zombie apocalypse?

Question by : What would be a good location for a zombie apocalypse?
I’m writing a book about a zombie apocalypse and I have no clue where it should take place. City, state and a little info about the location would be awesome. Also what would be a good name to call the zombies? When i think about other names that they have been called I think of walkers, stenches, or the undead. I don’t want to use something that is so original.

Call the zombies “Grueks” as I do. 😛

Also set it in Hollywood or In New Orleans. It’d be fun because of the big terrain and the interactions with the characters. You should have the setting first take place as an actor is sleeping when the stuff happens, but goes to new Orleans to meet up with his friends and family. (Hometown.)

Tell me if I helped.

I think it’d be better if you just made up your own location. Some where with a little bit small town and city mixed together. Make the location fit the story somehow because if your trying to get the story to fit a real location then its not as interesting. In my opinion anyway.

You could make it in disney world where everything is shut down dark and creepy. You could have a lot of fun with parts at different rides like the haunted mansion or the tower of terror.

    You could call the zombies:
    The infected
    flesh feasters
