Is it illegal to carry a real machete during a zombie walk?

Question by : Is it illegal to carry a real machete during a zombie walk?
I have a real machete that I use for camping and such, and I thought it would be a cool prop for a zombie costume. It has a very dull metal blade and could probably only be used to hurt somebody if you swung it at them very hard (which I don’t plan on doing).
I think this is probably illegal, and probably a dumb question, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
I live in the US in Utah.

Not in the state where I live.

It is not a dumb question, but it is one that is answered by local law. No national law forbids carrying an unsharpened machete.

    Call your local police department.

a zombie wouldn’t carry a machete, that would be for the zombie hunter
