It’s ok. My 7yr old thinks it’s fun and it’s easy for him to play. I don’t like how there is a timer on the options because It doesn’t give a younger child enough time to read everything and answer. There have also been some what the hells and the word crap tossed in there. I feel like for a game rated E10 they could of left those at as it has no real use in the story. But I guess they needed to appeal to the older kids. But overall it’s different way to play mine craft and my 7 yr.old is excited to play it.

My children have been obsessed with Minecraft for years, so they were super excited to test out this game. In this version of Minecraft, you play as a character named Jesse. The story unfolds like a movie, with great graphics and an interesting plot. However, what makes it so fun and interactive is that you get to make the decisions about what Jesse does. There are five parts to the series. You get to visit the Overworld, Nether, the End and more along with Jesse, his friends, and his pig companion. Your quest will involve finding the Order of the Stone and its warriors in order to save your world from the Creepers and their masters.

My children thought it was really fun to play a game that told a real story. It can be a little challenging at times, so the rating of E 10+ is a good choice. Any younger and they will probably get frustrated. There is also some mild language which may be a turn-off to some parents. My twelve and fourteen year old kids both enjoyed the game. They are getting plenty of playtime out of it because you can always go back and make different choices to see where it leads you next time. This is a fun and original game with minimal violence that gets kids to rationalize while they play. Definitely a thumbs up from this mom.
