An overall great game mash up! Minecraft storymode is fun adventure for everyone! It even inspired me to create amazing things in the actual minecraft game! This game has been so much fun both episode 1 and 2 and when the other episodes come out in sure they will be just as great! If you like minecraft and telltale games you will love this! Even if you never played a telltale game give it a try! It’ll surprise you!

At the time of writing this, I have played the first episode, the only episode currently released. I wasn’t expecting much from a Minecraft/TellTale mashup, but I was pleasantly surprised by the game. The designers did a really good job of incorporating Minecraft elements, like directing me to craft a bow and arrow to solve a particular puzzle, and giving me a choice of speed vs. aesthetics when building a shelter for the night. I’m looking forward to the subsequent episodes.

My 10 year old got this game yesterday for his birthday. He loved the game however one day of being home sick and he already finished it and the credits came up. (For those wondering, no he also did not play the entire day. He played only a 2-3 hours tops today and maybe 1 yesterday) I like that he enjoyed it, however from a parents perspective I am quite disappointed that it didn’t last longer. This seems like a waste of money at this point.
